“Wine tells stories” is Andr\u00e9 Macionga’s philosophy. Wine can be incredibly versatile and multi-layered, different in texture, taste and smell. Wine creates experiences – and experiences shape life.<\/p>\n

From passion to profession<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2011, Andr\u00e9 Macionga decided to steer his passio in a professional direction. His goal: to create more \u201cwine stories” with new taste development. In the wineries Horst Sauer, Markus Schneider, Klosterm\u00fchle Odernheim and Neverland, Andr\u00e9 found places that made it possible to create new, unique cuv\u00e9es. Thanks to them he was able to realize his ideas.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9s philosophy: strong character wines<\/strong><\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9 Macionga sees his wines in colour nuances. Before Andr\u00e9 creates the cuv\u00e9e, he tastes every wine. This is how color images are created in his inner eye. From these colour pictures he decides in which overall direction the cuv\u00e9e should develop. The result is an extraordinary cuv\u00e9e with a unique colour. His wines shine in their splendour and let the wine lover guess where the journey should go.<\/p>\n

Tasting a variety of things through questioning<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whoever drinks a cuv\u00e9e from Andre Macionga Cuv\u00e9e should have a taste experience. Andr\u00e9 Macionga: \u201cWine lovers should be able to discover my wines with vigilance and openness”. Macionga is of the opinion that there is the possibility to drink a wine thoughtlessly or to enjoy it questioningly. \u201cI question it, because there’s much to taste in my wines\u201d.<\/p>\n

The wines of Andr\u00e9 Macionga are clearly structured and have substance. This is sometimes a reason why they are excellently suited as food companions. And when the wine is open and can breathe, it reveals a new facet to the connoisseur, every five minutes. That’s the thrill, a true joy. For wine shall bring joy. \u201cWith wine you can have new experiences. I find it fascinating how one and the same bottle of wine can change completely in an hour” explains Macionga.<\/p>\n
