The Klostermühle Odernheim winery is located in the heart of the Nahe wine region in Rhineland-Palatinate. It was founded in the early Middle Ages as the farm of the Disibodenberg monastery and thus stands for over 1000 years of wine-growing tradition. The Montfort vineyard is one of the steepest in the world. The vineyard cultivates over 13. 5 hectares, on which about 110,000 bottles are produced annually, of which 30,000 bottles of sparkling wine and 3,000 bottles of spirits. The grape varieties include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewürztraminer.
