0,75 l, Adam Mereaux, ChampagnerLimited edition, 2100 bottles Many say it was a nightmare, some were in heaven. Adam-Mereaux believes that 2011 is one of the best vintages! The grapes were harvested in the right place and at the right time with exceptional quality. So this champagne had more than one lucky hand. We are lucky! “The dense texture is still pretty fresh. Mrs. Quince talks to Mr. Elder while Miss Butter caramelises the young onions. Some green apples are singing, and light rays of anise brighten our mood. Tasting note
The very first sip of this special champagne creates a vibrating sensation on the palate and is immediately a sparkling inspiration. The play of freshness and vinousness creates an exciting alternation and mixes with light brioche tones and green apples. The lightness, a prancing brizzling, complete the picture and give the “L’Étoile de Berru” an irresistible drinking flow. A real temptation for the next bottle!
The change after a little breath can already be recognized by the smell. It shows more extract, more substance. The variety of aromas that the champagne promised and suggested in the first taste picture is now fully developed. The light brioche tones from the beginning are now more of a brioche seared in salt and butter. The green acidity is reminiscent of fresh basil, light mint and, together with the ethereal finish, forms a pleasure of the highest quality.
