Tasting note

The first nose greets you with the smell of sulfur from a volcano steaming in front of you. Oversized vapors are breathtakingly noticeable here in a phenolic way. You are right in the vineyard and smell and taste the excellent steep slopes. Here it is clear that this is a crazy cross-section of different soils and styles from the best Moselle locations, which can be experienced as an interpretation in a glass in this Cuvée Prestige. Röttgen, Uhlen Laubach, Roth Lay send their regards. In the nose there is no pure harmony, it is almost an outcry of the different characters, which then let themselves be carried away to an irresistible unity on the palate. Amazingly fresh on the palate and not very broad. Fascinating how the taste is enhanced by verbena on the sides. Together with salt, breed and flavor, the fresh acidity and minerality make for a constantly recurring flow of drinking. It inspires the terroir game, this prancing jumping between the layers. This is unique. The cuvée almost leaves salt on the lips. It’s like walking barefoot through the vineyards and feeling the sea water that made waves here millions of years ago.
