Restrained burgundy tones with a wide range of aromas. It carries an incredibly animating acidity and a great play of cherry notes. The fullness and concentration presents itself soft and silky on one side and racy and spicy on the other – the wine is very uplifting.
Tasting note
Burgundy at its best. Freshly uncorked, this wine takes us away with its multi-layered aroma complex of light cherry blossoms and cherry tones, roasted pine nuts and poppy seeds. The smell of a damp shrub shortly after the rain settles on the palate and collides with rosemary, sauerkraut and minimal mercury aromas that are blurred with the tannic acid. In the second sip, the aroma structure already appears much more differentiated, finer and more elegant. The wine stands before the palate like an armada of aromas, each one of them a piece of the overall picture, which gradually salutes and sincerely thanks to be part of this extraordinary cuvée Komplex 19.
